ResumenCoupling is an important aspect to be considered in the design process of antenna arrays. The real feeding radiated coefficients can be quite different from the theoretical ones because of this effect. In this paper, a characterization and compensation model is presented. This procedure is capable of matching each element of the array. All the parameters of the array coupling model are obtained through the measurement of scattering parameters and radiation patterns of the individual elements. Some practical applications to linear patch arrays are presented.
